Reset formats in PowerPoint 2007
Ok, for years I have used the Format Painter button in PowerPoint to reset the manually modified bullets and font changes on a slide back to the Slide Master format. BUT in PowerPoint 2007, this no longer works. Frustrations sets in!!!
Don’t worry there is now a quicker and EASIER solution. (Isn’t that what new versions are supposed to do for you?)
Click on the slide(s) that have been manually modified. On the Home tab of the Ribbon, there is a Reset button. Just click it! Done!
The selected slides are now RESET back to the Slide Master look for that layout.
No more select, click on the Format Painter, click on additional slides…repeat until done.
Works great, but I wish that somewhere in Help it would have told me this is how you fix your slides in PowerPoint 2007.
