Tip: How to Align Drawings in Visio 2003 or 2007

Spending “hours” trying to align objects on your Visio drawing? Have you spent time “nudging” an object so that the connector line is straight?

Save yourself frustration by displaying the Action Toolbar

(View / Toolbars / Action).

Select the objects that you want to align; then click on the down arrow on the Align Shapes button (first button on the Action toolbar); select one of the six options — horizontal or vertical.

You now have perfectly aligned objects without spending “hours” of time!
